the switch blade is a compact, versatile 4-channel video effects loop switcher designed to streamline your video signal chain. it lets you connect up to four video effects units in series, giving you control to switch each effect on or off individually or bypass them altogether.
powered by usb-c (no power delivery required), the switch blade features rca jacks for the main video input and output, and 3.5mm jacks for the loop’s inputs and outputs.
each of the switch blade’s 4 channels provides a send (out) and return (in) line, which you connect to your effect’s input and output, respectively. for example, connect the send line to the mismatcher petite’s enhancer in, and the return line to the petite’s enhancer out.
this setup makes it easy to experiment with and layer multiple video effects without the hassle of re-cabling.
