the mismatcher delux ii with the full case and expansion setup is the most complete version of the mismatcher system, bringing together the redesigned delux ii unit and all compatible expansion modules in one compact handheld package.
at the center is the new mismatcher delux ii, rebuilt from the ground up while keeping the familiar control layout and patch interface that made earlier versions so immediate and playable.
this is the first handheld mismatcher powered by usb-c pd, allowing it to run at 9v instead of 5v, giving the circuit noticeably more headroom before clipping or distorting.
the built-in system check helps verify that your power source is correct and warns you if an expansion module is connected improperly, making the full setup more reliable and easier to use.
at the heart of the unit is the enhancer, the main video-glitch circuit, with four key controls: input z, gain, feedback 1, and feedback 2. these parameters can also be modulated externally using cv or gate signals for animated and responsive patches.
alongside these controls are two additional switches that reshape the circuit's internal behavior, changing both the gain frequency response and the internal feedback structure.
the redesigned sync mixer adds even more control, with dedicated knobs for correction, luma, and chroma, plus a switch to alter the sync mixer filter response for further image shaping.
the onboard oscillator introduces built-in motion and automation through its frequency-controlled sine wave output. route it into any cv or gate input to bring movement and modulation directly into your patches.
this full setup also includes all compatible expansion modules, giving you the widest possible range of control. the switch board makes it easy to toggle effects on and off during performance with large tactile buttons. the audio reactor adds music-reactive behavior, enabling and disabling effects in response to sound. the wiper expansion lets you control where effects appear on screen and create wipe-style transitions with precision.
everything comes fully assembled inside the custom 3d printed case, so there is no assembly required. the case neatly houses the delux ii and its expansion modules in one self-contained unit, with a magnetic lid that snaps into place for a clean and compact finish.
